I am unable to get a Konica Minolta C280 MFP to scan to a samba share on Freenas. It has previously been scanning to a Windows 7 Pro PC with no issues. The share on Freenas has both permissions set to allow the specific user name I am using and 'Everyone' Full Control.
Print speed:Print speed is critically important when buying a printer, but how do you compare print speeds when manufacturers measure it in very different ways? You need a standard. That standard is ISO ppm. ISO ppm is based on the international standard for measuring print speed. Completed in March 2009, this standard was developed by technical experts and representatives from leading printer manufacturers, including Canon, Epson, HP, Kodak and Lexmark. Under this standard, black and color print speeds are determined in default, single-side mode in accordance with ISO/IEC 24734. Unlike older models that capped out at around 30 pages per minute (ppm), newer digital copiers are capable of printing anywhere from 22 ppm on the low end up to 100 ppm with deluxe models. Reducing warm-up requirements, 'first copy out' speeds have also improved and now range between 3.5 to 7.5 seconds.
